Is the complaint data really free?+
Yes, permanently. The CFPB data is public — we normalise it, resolve entities, and present it cleanly. Consumer access to the rated data will always be free. Pro and Team plans unlock power tools like exports, comparisons, and alerts.
When are Pro and Team launching?+
Post-incorporation — we're setting up the legal entity and payment infrastructure now. If you want early access, email ash@complaintrate.com and we'll notify you the day it goes live.
What's the difference between Pro and Enterprise?+
Pro and Team are self-serve consumer and advisor tools — exports, alerts, comparisons. Enterprise is structured B2B data for compliance teams, law firms, newsrooms, and investors — custom deliverables, API access, and ongoing monitoring at institutional scale.
Can I cancel anytime?+
Yes. Pro and Team are annual subscriptions but we'll refund within 30 days if you're not satisfied. Enterprise contracts are negotiated separately.
Where does the data come from?+
All complaint data is sourced from the CFPB public complaint database (2011–present). Rates are normalised using FDIC deposit data as a customer proxy. OCC and Federal Reserve enforcement data is sourced from their respective public databases.
